Using the Latest TechnologiesCreative Information Systems sells scale management software that tracks a lot of information. They were looking to create a web portal for their clients to give access to select information, and they already had a relationship with J-Cap Web Design through the CIS Needs Analysis. This posed an interesting challenge to J-Cap Web Design, because it required communication between a web portal and CIS's primary desktop application, new terrain for J-Cap Web Design. This required use of some of the most advanced web technologies, including XML for templating and AJAX for report status monitoring. |
